One-Day Workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights

Gauhati Commerce College (Autonomous) successfully organised a One-Day Workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights: From Innovation to Registration and Commercialisation” on 6th October 2026, with 60 participants, comprising of both in-house faculty members and few from other colleges of Kamrup Metro. The sessions were delivered by Dr. Aruna Dev Rroy on “Ideas to Assets: Using IPR for Academic Growth” and Er. Manash Jyoti Borah on “Intellectual Property Rights and Patent Filing Process.” 
The workshop was organised by the Research & Development Cell: IPR, Legal and Ethical Matters Committee, in association with IQAC and the Accountancy Club, Gauhati Commerce College (A).
