Letter of Understanding (LoU) with WWF Assam .

Gauhati Commerce College (Autonomous) took a significant step towards strengthening its commitment to environmental sustainability with the signing of a Letter of Understanding (LoU) with WWF Assam on 16 October 2026. The LoU was signed by Prof. Bipul Das, Principal, Gauhati Commerce College (Autonomous), and Ms. Archita Baruah Bhattacharya, State Director, WWF Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Dr. Sumadhur Roy is the Faculty Coordinator for the college.

This collaboration will facilitate joint initiatives to promote environmental awareness, biodiversity conservation, sustainable practices, and active engagement in environmental protection among students and faculty members.
